Malappuram: കരിപ്പൂരിൽ പോലീസ് വീട്ടിൽ നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയിൽ ഒന്നര കിലോ MDMA പിടികൂടി. കരിപ്പൂർ സ്വദേശി ആഷിഖ് എന്നയാളുടെ വീട്ടിൽ നിന്നാണ് MDMA പിടികൂടിയത്.മലപ്പുറം പോലീസ് മേധാവിയുടെ കീഴിലുള്ള ഡാൻസാഫ് സംഘമാണ് മയക്കുമരുന്ന് പിടികൂടിയത്. ആഷിഖ് നിലവിൽ മട്ടാഞ്ചേരി പോലീസിൻ്റെ കസ്റ്റഡിയിലാണ്, മട്ടാഞ്ചേരിയിൽ MDMA യും കഞ്ചാവും കടത്തിയ കേസിൽ ആഷിഖ് അടക്കം ആറുപേർ പ്രതികളാണ്. വിദേശത്ത് നിന്നും പാർസലായാണ് വീട്ടിൽ മയക്കുമരുന്ന് എത്തിച്ചത്.സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഇതുവരെ പിടികൂടിയ ഉന്നത അളവിലുള്ള കേസുകളിൽ ഒന്നാണിത്.
Malappuram: Major Drug Bust in Karipur; 1.5 Kg of MDMA Seized. Police conducted a raid at a house in Karipur and seized 1.5 kg of MDMA. The drugs were recovered from the residence of a local named Ashiq. The operation was carried out by the DANSAF team under the leadership of the Malappuram Police Chief.
Currently, Ashiq is in the custody of the Mattancherry Police. He is one of six accused in a case involving the smuggling of MDMA and cannabis in Mattancherry. Reports suggest that the drugs were delivered to the house through an international parcel.
This seizure is considered one of the largest drug busts in the state to date.
