Malappuram: കോഡൂരിൽ വീട്ടിലെ പ്രസവത്തിനിടെ യുവതി മരിച്ച സംഭവത്തിൽ ഭർത്താവ് സിറാജുദ്ദീനെ പൊലീസ് കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്തു. പെരുമ്പാവൂരിലെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിയാണ് മലപ്പുറം പൊലീസ് ഇയാളെ കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്തത്. ആലപ്പുഴ സ്വദേശിയാണ് സിറാജുദ്ദീൻ. ഇയാളുടെ ഭാര്യയും പെരുമ്പാവൂർ സ്വദേശിനിയുമായ അസ്‌മയാണ് കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം മലപ്പുറം ഈസ്റ്റ് കോഡൂരിലെ വാടക വീട്ടിൽ മരിച്ചത്.
നിലവിൽ അസ്വാഭാവിക മരണത്തിനാണ് പൊലീസ് കേസെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നത്. ചികിത്സ വൈകിപ്പിച്ചതടക്കമുള്ള കൂടുതൽ വകുപ്പുകൾ ഇയാൾക്കെതിരെ ചുമത്തും. ഇയാളെ മലപ്പുറം സ്റ്റേഷനിലെത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. നാളെയോടെ അറസ്റ്റ് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയേക്കും. അമിത രക്തസ്രാവമാണ് യുവതിയുടെ മരണ കാരണമെന്ന് പോസ്റ്റ്മോർട്ടത്തിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയിരുന്നു. തുടർന്നാണ് ഭർത്താവിനെ പൊലീസ് കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്തത്. കേസ് പെരുമ്പാവൂർ പൊലീസ് മലപ്പുറം പൊലീസിന് കൈമാറിയിരുന്നു.
കളമശ്ശേരി മെഡിക്കൽ കോളജിൽ നടത്തിയ പോസ്റ്റ്മോർട്ടത്തിലാണ് മരണകാരണം വ്യക്തമായത്. പ്രസവത്തിന് പിന്നാലെ ശ്വാസതടസം അനുഭവപ്പെട്ടാണ് അസ്മ മരിച്ചതെന്നായിരുന്നു ഭർത്താവ് സിറാജുദ്ദീൻ പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നത്. ശനിയാഴ്ച വൈകീട്ട് ആറ് മണിക്ക് പ്രസവം നടന്ന് രാത്രി ഒമ്പതിനാണ് അസ്മ മരിക്കുന്നത്. അതുവരെ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ കൊണ്ടുപോയിരുന്നില്ല. പ്രസവത്തെ തുടർന്ന് രക്തസ്രാവമുണ്ടായി ഗുരുതരാവസ്ഥയിലായ യുവതി മൂന്ന് മണിക്കൂറോളം വീട്ടിൽ കിടന്നിട്ടും ആശുപത്രിയിൽ കൊണ്ടുപോവാൻ സിറാജുദ്ദീൻ തയാറായിരുന്നില്ലെന്നും ഇതാണ് മരണത്തിലേക്ക് നയിച്ചതെന്നും പൊലീസ് വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു.
മരണത്തിനു പിന്നാലെ മൃതദേഹം ആരും അറിയാതെ ഭർത്താവ് പെരുമ്പാവൂരിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടു പോവുകയായിരുന്നു. കുഞ്ഞ് ജനിച്ച ഉടനെ സിറാജുദ്ദീൻ വാട്ട്സ്ആപ്പിൽ ഈ വിവരം സ്റ്റാറ്റസ് ഇട്ടതായി നാട്ടുകാർ പറയുന്നു. എന്നാൽ പിന്നീടുണ്ടായ അമിത രക്തസ്രാവം മൂലം യുവതി മരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
ഇതോടെ ആരുമറിയാതെ രാത്രിയോടെ തന്നെ യുവതിയുടെ മൃതദേഹം യുവതിയുടെ നാട്ടിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുപോവുകയായിരുന്നു. ഭാര്യക്ക് ശ്വാസംമുട്ടലാണെന്ന് ആംബുലൻസ് ഡ്രൈവറെ തെറ്റിദ്ധരിപ്പിച്ചായിരുന്നു യാത്ര. വീട്ടിലെത്തിയതോടെ, ഭാര്യയുടെ ബന്ധുക്കളാണ് പൊലീസിൽ വിവരം അറിയിച്ചത്. രാവിലെ പൊലീസ് വിളിക്കുമ്പോഴാണ് മലപ്പുറത്തെ പ്രദേശവാസികൾ വിവരം അറിയുന്നത്.
Malappuram: A tragic incident unfolded in Kodur, Malappuram, where a young woman named Asma died during childbirth at home. Following the incident, her husband Sirajuddin, a native of Alappuzha, was taken into custody by the police from a private hospital in Perumbavoor. Asma, originally from Perumbavoor, was living in a rented house in East Kodur when the incident occurred. According to the police, the death was initially registered as an unnatural one, but further charges will be added, including negligence in providing timely medical care. The post-mortem conducted at Kalamassery Medical College revealed that excessive bleeding was the cause of death. Despite her critical condition following the delivery at around 6 PM on Saturday, Sirajuddin allegedly did not take her to the hospital for nearly three hours, which proved fatal. After her death, he secretly transported her body to her native place, misleading even the ambulance driver by saying she had breathing issues. It was only when they reached Asma’s house that her family informed the police. Shockingly, locals claim that Sirajuddin had updated his WhatsApp status about the birth of the child soon after delivery, while keeping Asma’s deteriorating condition a secret. The Malappuram police have now taken over the investigation, and his formal arrest is expected soon.
