Malappuram: മലപ്പുറം വണ്ടൂർ പുളിയാക്കോട് സ്വകാര്യ ബസിന് മുകളിൽ മരം വീണ് അപകടം. ഇന്ന് വൈകിട്ടാണ് അപകടം ഉണ്ടായത്. വഴിയരികിലെ ആൽമരമാണ് ഓടിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന ബസിന് മുകളിലേക്ക് വീണത്. ബസിന്‍റെ ഒരു ഭാഗം ഏറെ കുറെ തകര്‍ന്ന നിലയിലാണ്.
പൊലീസും അഗ്നിസുരക്ഷാസേനയും നാട്ടുകാരും ചേര്‍ന്നാണ് ബസില്‍ കുടുങ്ങിക്കിടക്കുകയായിരുന്ന യാത്രക്കാരെ പുറത്തെടുത്തത്. അപകടത്തില്‍ ഒരു യാത്രക്കാരന് ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റു. ബസിനുള്ളിൽ കുടുങ്ങിക്കിടന്ന യാത്രക്കാരെ ബസ് പൊളിച്ചാണ് പുറത്തെടുത്തത്.
Malappuram: A private bus met with an accident at Puliyakode, Vandoor, Malappuram, after a tree fell on it. The incident occurred this evening when a roadside banyan tree collapsed onto the moving bus. One side of the bus was extensively damaged.
The passengers trapped inside were rescued by a joint effort of the police, fire force, and local residents. One passenger sustained serious injuries in the incident. The trapped passengers were extricated by dismantling parts of the bus.
