Meppayur: മേപ്പയ്യൂരിൽ ഇലക്ട്രിക് ബൈക്കിന് തീപ്പിടിച്ചു കത്തി നശിച്ചു. കൊഴുക്കല്ലൂര്‍ വടക്കേ തയ്യില്‍ ശ്രീനാഥിന്റെ ഉടമസ്ഥതയിലുള്ള റിവോള്‍ട്ട് കമ്പനിയുടെ ഇലക്ട്രിക് ബൈക്കാണ് കത്തി നശിച്ചത്. ബൈക്ക് ഓടികൊണ്ടിരിക്കെ തീപടര്‍ന്നത് ആളിക്കത്തുകയായിരുന്നു.
തലനാരിഴയ്ക്കാണ് വന്‍ അപകടം ഒഴിവായത്. ഓടിക്കൂടിയ നാട്ടുകാരും, സുഹൃത്തുക്കളും ചേര്‍ന്ന് ഏറെ നേരത്തെ ശ്രമങ്ങൾക്കൊടുവിലാണ് തീ അണച്ചത്. വാഹനം പൂര്‍ണ്ണമായും കത്തി നശിച്ചു. ഷോര്‍ട്ട് സര്‍ക്യൂട്ടാണ് അപകട കാരണമെന്നാണ് കരുതുന്നത്.
Meppayur: An electric bike owned by Sreenath from Kozhukkalloor Vadakke Thayyil was completely destroyed in a fire. The bike, manufactured by Revolt, caught fire while being ridden, quickly engulfing in flames.
A major accident was narrowly avoided. Locals and friends rushed to the spot and managed to extinguish the fire after a prolonged effort. However, the vehicle was entirely burnt. A short circuit is suspected to be the cause of the fire.
