Kozhikode: വീട്ടിലെ വിറകുപുരയില്‍ നിന്ന് വിറക് എടുക്കുന്നതിനിടയില്‍ പാമ്പ് കടിയേറ്റ് മധ്യവയസ്‌ക മരിച്ചു. മങ്ങാട് കൂട്ടാക്കില്‍ ദേവി(61) ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. ഇന്നലെ വൈകീട്ട് ആറ് മണിയോടെയായിരുന്നു അപകടം.
വീട്ടിലെ ആവശ്യത്തിന് വിറക് പുരയില്‍ നിന്ന് വിറക് എടുക്കുന്നതിനിടയില്‍ പാമ്പ് കടിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. ഉടന്‍ തന്നെ Kozhikode Medical College ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ എത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും ജീവന്‍ രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല. പിതാവ്: ചെക്കിണി കുന്നുമ്മല്‍. അമ്മ: നാരായണി. ഭര്‍ത്താവ്: ബാലന്‍ കൊല്ലരുതൊടികയില്‍. മക്കള്‍: വിനോദ്, ബിന്ദു, ബിനീഷ്. സംസ്‌കാരം ഇന്ന് വീട്ടുവളപ്പില്‍ നടക്കും.
Kozhikode: A middle-aged woman died after being bitten by a snake while collecting firewood from the storage area at her home. The deceased has been identified as Devi (61) from Mangad Kootakkal. The incident occurred yesterday around 6 PM.
She was bitten by the snake while taking firewood for household use. She was immediately rushed to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital, but doctors were unable to save her life.
She was the daughter of Chekkini Kunnummal and Narayani. Her husband is Balan Kollaruthodikkayil. She is survived by her children Vinod, Bindu, and Bineesh. The funeral will take place today in the courtyard of her residence.
