Thiruvambady: കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലയിൽ റെഡ് അലർട്ട് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതിനാലും പുഴയിലെ ജലനിരപ്പ് ക്രമാതീതമായി ഉയരൻ സാധ്യത ഉള്ളതിനാലും ദുരന്ത നിവാരണ നിയമം 2005 പ്രകാരം അരിപ്പാറ, പതങ്കയം, ഉറുമി ജല വൈദ്യുതി പദ്ധതി, ഇരുവഞ്ഞിപ്പുഴയുടെ തീരം, എലന്ത്കടവ് കുമ്പിടാൻ അടക്കമുള്ള വിവിധ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ വിനോദസഞ്ചാരികൾ അടക്കമുള്ള ആളുകൾ പുഴയിൽ ഇറങ്ങുന്നതും, തീരങ്ങളിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നതും കർശനമായി നിരോധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് തിരുവമ്പാടി ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡൻ്റ് ബിന്ദു ജോൺസൺ / സെക്രട്ടറി ഷാജു കെ എസ് എന്നിവർ അറിയിച്ചു.
Thiruvambady: In light of the red alert declared in Kozhikode district and the possibility of a sudden rise in river water levels, entry into rivers and riverbanks is strictly prohibited in various areas including Arippara, Pathankayam, Urumi Hydroelectric Project, both banks of the Iruvanjippuzha River, and Elanthukadavu-Kumpidan region, as per the Disaster Management Act 2005.
