Kozhikode: കുറ്റ്യാടിക്കടുത്ത് കക്കട്ടിലിൽ ഉമ്മയോടൊപ്പം ഉറങ്ങി കിടന്ന ഒന്നര വയസുകാരി മരിച്ചനിലയിൽ. ഉപ്പയുടെ പരാതിയിൽ Kuttiady പൊലീസ് കേസെടുത്ത് അന്വേഷണം തുടങ്ങി.
അരൂർ ഒതയോത്ത് റിയാസിൻ്റെ മകൾ നൂറ ഫാത്തിമ (47 ദിവസം പ്രായം ) യാണ് മരിച്ചത്. കക്കട്ടിലെ പൊയോൽ മുക്കിലെ ഉമ്മയുടെ വീട്ടിലാണ് മരണം. ഇന്ന് രാവിലെ ഒൻപതര മണിക്ക് മൂത്ത മകൾ എത്തി നോക്കിയപ്പോഴാണ് ഉറങ്ങിക്കിടക്കുകയായിരുന്ന ഉമ്മയുടെ അടുത്ത് ചലനമറ്റ് ശരീരം തണുത്ത നിലയിൽ കുട്ടിയെ കണ്ടത്.
ഉടൻ തന്നെ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും നേരത്തെ മരണം സംഭവിച്ചതായി ഡോക്ടർ മാർ അറിയിച്ചു. കുറ്റ്യാടി പൊലീസ് ഇൻക്വസ്റ്റ് നടത്തിയ മൃതദ്ദേഹം കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പോസ്റ്റ് മോർട്ടം നടപടി തുടങ്ങി.
ഇന്നലെ രാത്രി നിർത്താതെ കരഞ്ഞ കുട്ടി ഇന്ന് പുലർച്ചെ രണ്ട് മണി വരെ മുലപ്പാൽ കുടിച്ചിരുന്നതായും രാത്രി ഉറങ്ങാതതിനാൽ ഉമ്മയോട് ഉറങ്ങിപോവുകയായിരുന്നുവെന്നാണ് ബന്ധുകൾ പറയുന്നത്. മരണകാരണം വ്യക്തമായിട്ടില്ല.
Kozhikode: A one-and-a-half-year-old girl who was sleeping alongside her mother was found dead at Kakkattil, near Kuttiady. Based on a complaint from the child’s father, Kuttiady Police have registered a case and begun an investigation.
The deceased has been identified as Noora Fathima (47 days old), daughter of Riyaz from Aroor Othayoth. The death occurred at the mother’s house in Poyol Mukku, Kakkattil. It was the elder daughter who found the baby’s body lying cold and motionless next to the sleeping mother around 9:30 AM today.
Although the child was rushed to the hospital immediately, doctors confirmed that she had already passed away. The Kuttiady Police conducted an inquest, and the body has been sent to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital for postmortem examination.
According to family members, the baby had been crying continuously the previous night and had been breastfeeding until around 2 AM. Due to exhaustion, the child had fallen asleep beside the mother. The exact cause of death is yet to be determined.
