kozhikode: പയ്യോളിയിൽ വൈദ്യുത ലൈനിലെ അറ്റകുറ്റപ്പണിക്കിടെ ഷോക്കേറ്റ് കരാർ ജീവനക്കാരന് ദാരുണാന്ത്യം. ഇന്ന് രാവിലെ 10.30 തോടെയാണ് സംഭവം. കൂരാച്ചുണ്ട് സ്വദേശി ജോർജിന്റെ മകൻ റിൻസ് (30) ആണ് മരിച്ചത്.
കൊളാവിപ്പാലത്ത് വീട്ടിലേയ്ക്ക് വൈദ്യുത കണക്ഷനായി പോസ്റ്റ് സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നതിനിടയിൽ പോസ്റ്റിന് മുകളിൽ നിന്നും വൈദ്യുത ലൈനിൽ കൈതട്ടി ഷോക്കേൽക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
ഷോക്കേറ്റ് വിറയ്ക്കുന്നത് കണ്ട നാട്ടുകാരും കെ.എസ്.ഇ.ബി അധികൃതരും ഉടനെ വടകര സഹകരണ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ച് പ്രാഥമിക ചികിത്സ നൽകിയെങ്കിലും മരണം സംഭവിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
Kozhikode: A contract worker tragically died of electrocution while carrying out maintenance work on an electric line in Payyoli. The incident occurred around 10:30 AM today. The deceased has been identified as Rince (30), son of George from Koorachundu.
He was electrocuted when his hand accidentally touched a live electric line while installing a post for a new electricity connection at a house in Kolavippalam.
Locals and KSEB officials who witnessed him convulsing due to the shock rushed him to Vadakara Co-operative Hospital, but he succumbed despite receiving initial medical attention.
