Perambra: പേരാമ്പ്ര എരവട്ടൂരിൽ വിൽപനയ്ക്കായ് സൂക്ഷിച്ച കഞ്ചാവുമായി യുവാവ് പിടിയിൽ. എരവട്ടൂർ കനാൽമുക്ക് സ്വദേശി മുഹമ്മദ് ഷമീം കെ.കെ (39) ആണ് പേരാമ്പ്ര പോലീസിൻ്റെ പിടിയിലായത്. ഇയാളിൽ നിന്ന് 87.17 ഗ്രാം കഞ്ചാവ് പോലീസ് കണ്ടെടുത്തു. ബിരിയാണി മസാല പാക്കിംഗിൻ്റെ മറവിൽ കഞ്ചാവ് തൂക്കി പാക്ക് ചെയ്തു വില്പന നടത്തുന്നുണ്ടെന്ന് രഹസ്യവിവരത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ മസാല പാക്കിംഗ് നടത്തിവന്നിരുന്ന എരവട്ടൂരിലെ റൂമിലെത്തി പ്രതിയെ കഞ്ചാവ് സാഹിതം പിടികൂടുകയായിരുന്നു.
ഏവെട്ടൂരും പേരാമ്പ്രയും കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ച് യുവാക്കൾക്കും സ്കൂൾ വിദ്യാർഥികൾക്കും കഞ്ചാവ് വിതരണം നടത്തി വന്നിരുന്നയാളാണെന്ന് പോലീസ് പറയുന്നു. പ്രതിക്കെതിരെ NDPS കേസ് രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്തു.

Perambra: Youth Arrested with Cannabis Hidden in Biryani Masala Packaging. Perambra: A youth was arrested in Eravattur, Perambra, for possessing cannabis intended for sale. The accused, identified as Muhammad Shameem K.K (39), a resident of Eravattur Kanalmukku, was taken into custody by the Perambra Police. Authorities seized 87.17 grams of cannabis from him. Based on a confidential tip-off, the police raided a room in Eravattur where he was packaging the substance under the guise of biryani masala packets.
Police reports suggest that the accused had been distributing cannabis among youngsters and school students in the Perambra and Eravattur regions. A case has been registered against him under the NDPS Act.
The operation was led by Perambra SI Shameer P, along with Junior SI Sanesh and team. Authorities have urged the public to report drug dealers to anti-narcotics squads, emphasizing that strict action will be taken against such offenders, as stated by Perambra DySP.
