Kanthapuram, Punur, Ekarul തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ സമാന രീതിയിൽ കോടികളുടെ തട്ടിപ്പ് നടന്നതായാണ് പുറത്തുവരുന്ന വിവരങ്ങൾ.
കാന്തപുരത്തെ പ്രധാന ജീവകാരുണ്യ സംഘടനയായ യങ് മെൻസ് കാന്തപുരത്തിന് കീഴിൽ സ്കൂട്ടറിനും മറ്റും ബുക്ക് ചെയ്തവർക്ക് മാത്രം ഒരു കോടിയോളം രൂപയുടെ സാധനസാമഗ്രികളാണ് ലഭിക്കാനുള്ളത്. 40 വർഷത്തോളമായി ഒട്ടേറെ ജീവകാരുണ്യ രംഗത്ത് സ്തുത്യർഹമായ രീതിയിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന സന്നദ്ധ സംഘടനയാണ് യങ് മെൻസ് കാന്തപുരം. തങ്ങൾ വഞ്ചിക്കപ്പെടുകയായിരുന്നു എന്നാണ് Young Mens ഭാരവാഹികൾ പറയുന്നത്. കബളിപ്പിച്ച് സാമ്പത്തിക തട്ടിപ്പ് നടത്തിയതിനെതിരെ യങ് മെൻസ് ഭാരവാഹികൾ Balussery പൊലീസിൽ പരാതി നൽകിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
Ekarul കേന്ദ്രമായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ഉണ്ണികുളം മഹിള സമാജത്തിന് കീഴിൽ പണം അടച്ചവർക്ക് 50 ലക്ഷത്തിലധികം രൂപയുടെ സാധനങ്ങളാണ് ലഭിക്കാനുള്ളത്. സ്കൂട്ടറിന്റെ വിലയുടെ പകുതി അടച്ചാൽ ബാക്കിയുള്ള തുക വലിയ കമ്പനികളുടെ സാമൂഹിക സുരക്ഷ ഫണ്ട് മുഖേന ലഭിക്കുമെന്ന് സന്നദ്ധ സംഘടനകളെ വിശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചാണ് തട്ടിപ്പിന്റെതുടക്കം. ആദ്യം പണം അടച്ച ഏതാനും പേർക്ക് സ്കൂട്ടറും ലാപ്ടോപ്പും ഗൃഹോപകരണങ്ങളും നൽകി സന്നദ്ധ സംഘടനകളുടെ വിശ്വാസം പിടിച്ചുപറ്റിയിരുന്നു. പണം അടച്ച് 90 ദിവസത്തിനകം വാഹനം നൽകുമെന്നായിരുന്നു വാഗ്ദാനം.
എന്നാൽ, 2024 ഏപ്രിൽ മാസം മുതൽ പണമടച്ചവർക്ക് കാലാവധി കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടും സ്കൂട്ടറും ലാപ്ടോപ്പും തയ്യൽ മെഷീനും ലഭിക്കാതെ വന്നതോടെ നിക്ഷേപകർ ആക്ഷേപവുമായി രംഗത്തെത്തിയിരുന്നു. ഉടൻ ലഭിക്കുമെന്ന് വിശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചാണ് നിക്ഷേപകരെ സന്നദ്ധ സംഘടനകൾ സമാധാനിപ്പിച്ചത്. അതേസമയം, 2023ലാണ് NGO സംഘടനയുമായി ഉണ്ണികുളം മഹിള സമാജം ചേർന്ന് പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നതെന്നും ഇതുവരെയും 200 തയ്യൽ മെഷീൻ, 62 സ്കൂട്ടർ, 27 ലാപ്ടോപ്, 17 കോഴിക്കൂട് , 15 കുട്ടികൾക്ക് സ്കൂൾ കിറ്റ് എന്നിവ പകുതി വിലക്ക് മഹിള സമാജം കൊടുത്തു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും നിലവിൽ 24 സ്കൂട്ടർ, 12 ലാപ്ടോപ്പുമാണ് അവധി കഴിഞ്ഞതെന്നും മഹിള സമാജം പ്രസിഡന്റ് രുഗ്മിണി ടീച്ചർ പറഞ്ഞു.
പുതുതായി 52 സ്കൂട്ടറിന് ഒമ്പത് മാസ കാലാവധിയിലാണ് പണം വാങ്ങി അടച്ചതെന്നും അവർ കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു. തട്ടിപ്പ് കേസിൽ Ananthukrishnan എന്നയാളെ പൊലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തതോടെ പണം മുടക്കിയവരുടെ വാട്സ്ആപ് ഗ്രൂപ്പുകളിൽ വരുന്ന ശബ്ദസന്ദേശത്തിൽ പദ്ധതി പൂർണമായും നടപ്പാക്കുമെന്നും ഇപ്പോൾ തെറ്റിദ്ധാരണയുടെ പേരിലുള്ള അറസ്റ്റാണ് നടക്കുന്നതെന്നും പ്രചരിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.
Poonoor: In a shocking scam, 359 people from Unnikulam were duped after being promised scooters and household appliances at half price for women and laptops for students. Preliminary reports suggest that similar frauds worth crores of rupees have occurred in regions like Kanthapuram, Punur, and Ekarul. The primary charitable organization involved, Young Mens Kanthapuram, had promised scooters and other items worth around one crore rupees to those who booked them. Young Mens Kanthapuram, a well-respected voluntary organization with over 40 years of commendable service in the charity sector, claims to have been deceived in this incident. The organization has filed a complaint with the Balussery police regarding the financial fraud. Under the Unnikulam Mahila Samajam, which operates from Ekarul, those who paid were supposed to receive goods worth over 50 lakh rupees. The scam began when voluntary organizations were convinced that half the price of the scooters would be covered by the social security funds of major companies. Initially, a few people who paid received scooters, laptops, and household appliances, which helped build trust. The promise was that vehicles would be delivered within 90 days of payment. However, since April 2024, despite the deadline passing, those who paid have not received their scooters, laptops, or sewing machines, leading to protests from investors. The voluntary organizations assured them that the items would be delivered soon. Meanwhile, it has been revealed that the Unnikulam Mahila Samajam began collaborating with the NGO in 2023 and has so far distributed 200 sewing machines, 62 scooters, 27 laptops, 17 chicken coops, and 15 school kits for children at half price. Currently, 24 scooters and 12 laptops are overdue, according to Mahila Samajam President Rugmini Teacher. She added that payments for 52 new scooters were collected with a nine-month delivery period. Following the arrest of Ananthukrishnan in the fraud case, voice messages circulating in WhatsApp groups of the affected individuals claim that the project will be fully implemented and that the arrest is based on a misunderstanding.
