Thamarassery: Police have gathered more evidence in the case of Shahbaz’s murder by a group of students. Chat details from a 62-member Instagram group and the phones used for communication have been identified.
In addition to the footage from the private tuition center where the initial conflict occurred, CCTV footage shows the group gathering near a mall in Thamarassery after assaulting Shahbaz. The footage also captures the group preparing to attack their rivals again and being chased away by mall employees.
After the first altercation, a friend dropped Shahbaz near his house on a scooter at 6:42 PM. Shortly after, around 10 students from Thamarassery Higher Secondary School regrouped near the mall at 6:50 PM.
