Thamarassery: ഭർത്താവിനെതിരെ ലഹരി ഉപയോഗവും അക്രമവും ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ട യുവതി പരാതി നൽകിയിട്ടും കേസ് രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്യാതെ ഒത്തുതീർപ്പാക്കി വിട്ടതാണ് കൊലപാതകത്തിലേക്ക് സഹജര്യമൊരുക്കിയത് എന്നാരോപിച്ച് കൊണ്ട് യൂത്ത് കോൺഗ്രസ് കൊടുവള്ളി നിയോജക മണ്ഡലം കമ്മറ്റിയുടെ നേതൃത്തിൽ സ്റ്റേഷൻ കവാടത്തിൽ കുത്തിരുന്നു പ്രതിഷേധിച്ചു . കേസുകളുടെ മെല്ലെ പോക്കും എടുക്കപ്പെട്ട കേസുകളിൽ ഉറവിടങ്ങളിലേക്ക് കേസ് പോകാത്തതും പോലീസിന്റെ അനാസ്ഥ കാരണമാണ് യോഗം കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തി.

Thamarassery: The Youth Congress Koduvally Assembly Committee staged a sit-in protest at the station gate, alleging that the police’s failure to register a case and instead settling the issue through a compromise facilitated the murder of the young woman, who had previously filed a complaint against her husband for drug use and domestic violence.
The protestors criticized the police for their sluggish approach to handling cases and their negligence, which they claimed resulted in cases not reaching their proper legal course.
