നടന്‍ ഷൈന്‍ ടോം ചാക്കോയും കുടുംബവും സഞ്ചരിച്ച വാഹനം അപകടത്തില്‍പ്പെട്ടു. ഷൈനിന്റെ പിതാവ് സി.പി. ചാക്കോ മരിച്ചു. ഷൈനിന് പരിക്കുണ്ട്. തമിഴ്‌നാട്ടിലെ ധര്‍മപുരി ജില്ലയിലെ ഹൊഗനയ്ക്കല്‍ വെച്ചാണ് അപകടമുണ്ടായത്. കുടുംബം സഞ്ചരിച്ച കാർ ലോറിയുമായി കൂട്ടിയിടിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.ഷൈനിനെ ധര്‍മപുരിയിലെ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു. ഷൈനും പിതാവും മാതാവും ഒരുസഹായിയുമാണ് വാഹനത്തിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നത്.
കുടുംബം സഞ്ചരിച്ച കാർ ലോറിയുമായി കൂട്ടിയിടിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
