Mukkam: മകന്‍ ലഹരിക്കടിമയാണെന്ന വെളിപ്പെടുത്തലുമായി മാതാവ്. എട്ടാം ക്ലാസ് മുതല്‍ മകന്‍ ലഹരി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്നും ഇപ്പോള്‍ തനിക്കെതിരെ അക്രമസ്വഭാവം അടക്കം പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്നും ഉമ്മ പറയുന്നു. ലഹരിക്കെതിരെ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടര്‍ ടിവി സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്ന മഹാ വാഹന റാലി മുക്കത്തെത്തിയപ്പോഴായിരുന്നു ഉമ്മയുടെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തല്‍.
ഉമ്മയുടെ വാക്കുകള്‍-
എട്ടാം ക്ലാസ് മുതല്‍ മകന്‍ ലഹരി ഉപയോഗിക്കുകയാണ്. ഇപ്പോള്‍ 22 വയസ്സ് ആയി. തുടക്കത്തില്‍ ചെറുതായിട്ടാണ് ഉപയോഗിച്ചത്. ഇപ്പോള്‍ തലയ്ക്ക് പിടിച്ചു. ജോലിക്ക് ഒന്നും പോകില്ല. കഞ്ചാവാണ് ആദ്യം ഉപയോഗിച്ചത്. ആദ്യം ഉപദേശിച്ചു. നന്നാവുമെന്നാണ് കരുതിയത്. ഡീഅഡിക്ഷന്‍ സെന്ററിലൊന്നും കൊണ്ടുപോയില്ല. ഒരു വര്‍ഷമായി സ്റ്റിക്കറോ മറ്റോ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.
ചില സമയത്ത് ദേഷ്യമാണ്. ചില സമയത്ത് സാധാരണനിലയില്‍ പെരുമാറും. ജോലിക്ക് പോകില്ല. ലഹരി കിട്ടാതെ നില്‍ക്കുന്ന സമയത്ത് പ്രശ്‌നമാണ്. എന്നെ സഹായിച്ചാല്‍ ഉപകാരമായിരുന്നു. പറയുന്നതൊന്നും അവന്‍ ഗൗരവത്തിലെടുക്കുന്നില്ല. സഹോദരിയോടും വഴക്കാണ്. ഈയടുത്ത് ബെല്‍റ്റ് ഊരി അടിക്കാന്‍ വന്നു.
‘ലഹരിയും വേണ്ട ലഹളയും വേണ്ട’ എന്ന സന്ദേശവുമായാണ് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടര്‍ ടി വി കേരളത്തിലുടനീളം മഹാവാഹന റാലി സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. മലപ്പുറം മഞ്ചേരിയില്‍ നിന്നും ആരംഭിച്ച റാലി അരീക്കോട്, ഓമശ്ശേരി, താമരശ്ശേരി, കൊടുവള്ളി, കുന്നമംഗലം എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലും ഇന്ന് റാലിക്ക് സ്വീകരണം ഒരുക്കി. കോഴിക്കോട് ബീച്ചില്‍ രാത്രി 8 മണിക്ക് മഹാസമ്മേളനം അവസാനിക്കും. കാസര്‍കോട് മുതല്‍ തിരുവനന്തപുരം വരെ നീളുന്ന മെഗാ ക്യാമ്പയിനാണ് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടര്‍ ടി വി തുടക്കമിടുന്നത്. അതത് പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലെ നാട്ടുകാരും ക്ലബുകളും ക്യാമ്പയിനിന്റെ ഭാഗമാകും. അതിന്റെ ആദ്യദിനമാണ് ഇന്ന്.
A mother has come forward revealing her son’s drug addiction. She stated that her son has been using drugs since 8th grade and now, at 22 years old, exhibits violent behavior towards her. The revelation was made when the Reporter TV’s Maha Vahana Rally against drug abuse reached Mukkam.
Mother’s Words:
“My son has been using drugs since 8th grade. He is now 22. It started with small amounts, but now he is completely addicted. He refuses to work. Initially, he began with cannabis. I tried advising him, hoping he would improve, but it only got worse. I never took him to a de-addiction center. For the past year, he has been using stickers or some other substances.
Sometimes he becomes aggressive, while at other times he behaves normally. The real issue arises when he does not get the drugs. He doesn’t take anything I say seriously. He also fights with his sister. Recently, he even tried to hit me with a belt.”
The Reporter TV is organizing the Maha Vahana Rally across Kerala with the message “No to Drugs, No to Violence.” The rally started from Manjeri in Malappuram and will pass through Areekode, Omassery, Thamarassery, Koduvally, and Kunnamangalam. A grand reception was arranged at each location. The event will conclude with a mega conference at Kozhikode Beach at 8 PM. The campaign, spanning from Kasaragod to Thiruvananthapuram, involves local communities and clubs in the fight against drug abuse.
