Kozhikode: Wayanad തുരങ്ക പാത നിർമാണത്തിന് സംസ്ഥാന പരിസ്ഥിതി ആഘാത സമിതി അനുമതി നൽകി. 25 ഇന വ്യവസ്ഥകളോടെയാണ് അനുമതി നൽകിയത്. ഉരുൾപൊട്ടൽ സാധ്യത പ്രദേശത്തെ തുരങ്ക പാത നിർമാണം അതീവ ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ വേണമെന്ന് സമിതി നിർദേശിച്ചു. പാറ തുരക്കുന്നതിന് ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച സാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യകൾ ഉപയോഗിക്കണം. പരിസ്ഥിതി നാശം ഒഴിവാക്കണം. പദ്ധതിയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് പലവട്ടം വിശദീകരണം തേടിയ ശേഷമാണ് അനുമതി നൽകിയത്.
വന്യജീവികളുടെയും ആദിവാസികൾ അടക്കമുളള മനുഷ്യരുടെയും പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങൾ പരിഗണിക്കണമെന്നും നിർദ്ദേശമുണ്ട്. അതേ സമയം പരിസ്ഥിതി അനുമതി ലഭിച്ചതോടെ തുരങ്കപാത നിർമാണവുമായി സർക്കാരിന് മുന്നോട്ട് പോകാം.
Kozhikode: The State Environmental Impact Assessment Committee has granted approval for the construction of the Wayanad tunnel, with 25 specific conditions. The committee has emphasized that the construction in landslide-prone areas must be carried out with extreme caution.
It has also been instructed to use the most advanced rock excavation technologies and to minimize environmental damage. The approval was granted after multiple rounds of evaluations and clarifications regarding the project.
Additionally, the committee has directed that the concerns of wildlife and indigenous communities must be considered. With the environmental clearance now in place, the government can proceed with the tunnel construction.
