Thamarassery: താമരശ്ശേരി കൊയിലാണ്ടി സംസ്ഥാന പാതയരികിൽ കോരങ്ങാട് വെച്ച് തെങ്ങിൽ തേങ്ങയിടാനായി കയറിയ ബംഗാൾ സ്വദേശി ഷോക്കേറ്റ് റോഡിലേക്ക് വീണു. പൂനൂരിൽ താമസിക്കുന്ന ബംഗാൾ സ്വദേശി പാണ്ടയാണ് തെങ്ങിൽ നിന്ന് താഴെ വീണത്.
Thamarassery: A migrant worker from Bengal suffered an electric shock and fell onto the road while climbing a coconut tree near the Thamarassery–Koyilandy state highway at Korangad. The injured man, identified as Panda from Bengal, currently resides in Poonoor.
He sustained serious injuries and was admitted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital. The incident occurred in the morning when he was climbing a coconut tree in the courtyard of Ashraf’s house in Korangad to harvest coconuts. While trying to cut down a dry coconut frond that was in contact with an electric line, he accidentally touched the high-voltage (HD) line and was electrocuted, causing him to fall onto the road. He was first given first aid at Thamarassery Taluk Hospital and later shifted to Kozhikode Medical College for specialized treatment.
