Koduvally പുളിയാൽ കുന്നുമ്മൽ മുഹമ്മദ് റാഫി (18) യാണ് താമരശ്ശേരി പൊലീസിന്റെ കസ്റ്റഡിയിലായത്.
കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം എളേറ്റിൽ വട്ടോളിയിൽ വെച്ച് കാറിൽ ഒളിപ്പിച്ച് കൊണ്ടുവരികയായിരുന്ന അഞ്ച് കോടി രൂപ പിടിച്ചിരുന്നു. സംഭവത്തിൽ കാറിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന കർണാടക സ്വദേശികളായ രാഘവേന്ദ്ര, നിജിൻ അഹമ്മദ് എന്നിവരാണ് പൊലീസിന്റെ പിടിയിലായത്. കാറിന്റെ രഹസ്യ അറിയില്ലായിരുന്നു പണം സൂക്ഷിച്ചത്. സംഭവത്തിൽ കൂടുതൽ അന്വേഷണം നടക്കുകയാണെന്ന് പൊലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു. പണത്തിന്റെ ഉറവിടത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് അന്വേഷിക്കുമെന്നും പ്രതികളെ ചോദ്യം ചെയ്താലേ കൂടുതൽ വിവരങ്ങൾ അറിയാനാകൂവെന്നും പൊലീസ് വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
Thamarassery: Major Hawala Money Seizure. A young man was taken into custody in Thamarassery with ₹38 lakh in unaccounted cash during a vehicle inspection. The money was hidden under the seat of a scooter at Parappanpoyil. The arrested individual has been identified as Mohammad Rafi (18) from Puliyal Kunnummal, Koduvalli.
This comes just a day after police seized ₹5 crore from a car at Vattoli in Elettil. The cash was concealed in the vehicle, and two Karnataka natives—Raghavendra and Nijin Ahmed—were arrested in connection with the case. According to police, the car had hidden compartments used to store the money.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the source of the seized cash. Police stated that further details can only be confirmed after thorough questioning of the accused.
