Thamarassery: അണ്ടോണ ചക്കിക്കാവ് വെള്ളച്ചാൽ തൂക്കുപാലത്തിന് സമീപം പുഴയിൽ മീൻ പിടിക്കുന്നതിനിടെ മധ്യവയസ്കൻ മുങ്ങി മരിച്ചു. ഉണ്ണികുളം താഴെ കീലഞ്ചേരി പാറക്കൽ മുരുകൻ (50) ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. മകനും ബന്ധുവിനുമൊപ്പമായിരുന്നു പുഴയിൽ മീൻ പിടിക്കാൻ എത്തിയത്. മീൻപിടുത്തത്തിനിടെ വെള്ളത്തിൽ മുങ്ങിയാണ് അപകടം. ഉച്ചയോടെയായിരുന്നു അപകടം. നാട്ടുകാർ ചേർന്നാണ് കരക്കെത്തിച്ചത്. മൃതദേഹം Thamarassery താലൂക്ക് ആശുപത്രിയിൽ സൂക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്.
Thamarassery: A middle-aged man drowned while fishing in the river near Andona Chakkikavu Vellachal Hanging Bridge. The deceased has been identified as Murukan (50) from Parakkal, Keelancheri, Unnikulam.
He had gone fishing in the river along with his son and a relative when the tragic incident occurred. He drowned while fishing, and the accident happened around noon.
Locals managed to retrieve the body from the water. His body has been kept at Thamarassery Taluk Hospital.
