Thamarassery: MDMA വിഴുങ്ങിയെന്ന സംശയത്തെത്തുടര്‍ന്ന് മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളജ് ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ച യുവാവിന്റെ വയറ്റില്‍ MDMA കണ്ടെത്തിയെന്ന് ഡോക്ടര്‍മാര്‍ അറിയിച്ചു. Thamarassery ചുടലമുക്കില്‍ താമസിക്കുന്ന അരേറ്റുംചാലില്‍ മുഹമ്മദ് ഫായിസ് അഹദി(27)ന്റെ വയറ്റിലാണ് MDMA കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. വയറ്റില്‍ തരി പോലെ എന്തോ ഉണ്ടെന്ന് സിടി സ്‌കാനില്‍ കണ്ടെത്തി. എന്‍ഡോസ്‌കോപ്പിയിലൂടെയാണ് MDMA ആണ് ഇതെന്ന് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്.
ഇന്നലെ വൈകീട്ട് അഞ്ചരയോടെയായിരുന്നു സംഭവം. വീടിനകത്ത് ബഹളംവെച്ച മുഹമ്മദ് ഫായിസിനെ നാട്ടുകാര്‍ വിവരമറിയിച്ച പ്രകാരം പോലിസെത്തി കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. അക്രമാസക്തനായ ഇയാളെ ഓടിച്ചിട്ടാണ് പിടികൂടിയത്. ഇതിനിടെ മുഹമ്മദ് ഫായിസ് കൈയിലുള്ള പാക്കറ്റ് വിഴുങ്ങിയതായി നാട്ടുകാര്‍ സംശയം പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചു. ഇതോടെയാണ് പരിശോധന നടത്താന്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചത്.
Thamarassery: Doctors have confirmed the presence of MDMA in the stomach of the youth who was admitted to the Medical College Hospital on suspicion of swallowing the drug. MDMA was detected in the stomach of Muhammad Fayis Ahadi (27), a resident of Arettumchal, Chudalamukku, Thamarassery. A CT scan revealed the presence of granular substances in his stomach, and an endoscopy confirmed that it was MDMA.
The incident occurred yesterday at around 5:30 PM. Following a commotion inside his house, locals alerted the police, who arrived and took Muhammad Fayis into custody. He was behaving aggressively and was caught after a chase. During this time, locals suspected that he had swallowed a packet in his possession, leading to a medical examination that confirmed the presence of MDMA.
