Thiruvambady: തിരുവമ്പാടി ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തിൻ്റെയും കുടുംബാരോഗ്യ കേന്ദ്രത്തിന്റെയും നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ പകർച്ചവ്യാധികളില്ലാത്ത സുരക്ഷിത നാടിനായി വാർഡുകളിൽ ‘കരുതൽ യാത്ര’ ആരംഭിച്ചു. ഡെങ്കിപ്പനി, മഞ്ഞപ്പിത്തം, എലിപ്പനി തുടങ്ങിയ പകർച്ചവ്യാധികൾ തടയുന്നതിന് വേണ്ടി ജനങ്ങളിൽ അവബോധം വളർത്തുന്നതിനും പകർച്ചവ്യാധികൾ ഉണ്ടാകുന്നതിന് കാരണമാകുന്ന രീതിയിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവർക്കെതിരെ പൊതുജനാരോഗ്യ നിയമപ്രകാരം മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നൽകുന്നതിനും വേണ്ടിയാണ് കരുതൽ യാത്ര നടത്തുന്നത്. ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തിലെ 17 വാർഡുകളിലും കരുതൽ യാത്ര തുടരും.
കരുതൽ യാത്രയുടെ ഭാഗമായി വീടുകളിൽ കയറി ബോധവൽക്കരണം, കൊതുക് സാന്ദ്രതാപഠനം, ക്ലോറിനേഷൻ, എലിപ്പനി പ്രതിരോധ ഗുളിക വിതരണം, തോട്ടം ഉടമകൾക്ക് നോട്ടീസ് നൽകൽ, പൊതുശുചിത്വ പരിശോധന തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളാണ് നടത്തുന്നത്. കരുതൽ യാത്രയുടെ പഞ്ചായത്ത് തല ഉദ്ഘാടനം പുന്നക്കൽ മസ്‌ലക്കുൽ ഇസ്ലാം സുന്നി മദ്രസയിൽ വെച്ച് നടന്ന ചടങ്ങിൽ ഗ്രാമ പഞ്ചായത്ത് വൈസ് പ്രസിഡണ്ട് കെ എ അബ്ദുറഹിമാൻ നിർവ്വഹിച്ചു. വാർഡ് മെമ്പർമാരായ ലിസി സണ്ണി, ഷൈനി ബെന്നി, ഹെൽത്ത് ഇൻസ്പെക്ടർ എം സുനീർ, ജൂനിയർ ഹെൽത്ത് ഇൻസ്പെക്ടർമാരായ റോഷന്‍ ലാല്‍, മുഹമ്മദ് മുസ്തഫ ഖാൻ, എം എൽ എസ് പി സുമി അബ്രഹാം എന്നിവർ സംസാരിച്ചു.
ജനപ്രതിനിധികൾ,കെ എം സി ടി നഴ്സിംഗ് കോളേജ് വിദ്യാർഥികൾ, ആശാവർക്കർമാർ, ആരോഗ്യ വളണ്ടിയർമാർ എന്നിവർ യാത്രയിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തു. കൊതുക് ജന്യ രോഗങ്ങൾക്ക് ഇടയാക്കുന്ന രീതിയിൽ വീടുകളിലോ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിലോ തോട്ടങ്ങളിലോ കൊതുകിന്റെ കൂത്താടി വളരുന്നതിനുള്ള സാഹചര്യം സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നവർക്കെതിരെ പൊതുജനാരോഗ്യ നിയമപ്രകാരവും പഞ്ചായത്ത് രാജ് ആക്ട് പ്രകാരവും നിയമനടപടികൾ സ്വീകരിക്കുമെന്ന് ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡണ്ട് ബിന്ദു ജോൺസണും കുടുംബാരോഗ്യ കേന്ദ്രം മെഡിക്കൽ ഓഫീസർ ഡോ. കെ വി പ്രിയയും അറിയിച്ചു.
The Thiruvambady Grama Panchayat, in collaboration with the Family Health Centre, has launched the ‘Karuthal Yatra’ initiative across all 17 wards with the aim of creating a safe, infection-free community. This campaign focuses on raising public awareness about the prevention of infectious diseases such as dengue, jaundice, and leptospirosis. As part of the initiative, health workers and volunteers are conducting door-to-door visits to educate residents, assess mosquito density, carry out chlorination, distribute preventive tablets for leptospirosis, and issue notices to property owners regarding sanitation.
The program was officially inaugurated at the Maslakkul Islam Sunni Madrasa in Punnakkal by the Panchayat Vice President. Various local representatives, health officials, and students from KMCT Nursing College participated actively. The Panchayat President and the Medical Officer emphasized that legal action will be taken under the Public Health Act and Panchayat Raj Act against individuals or establishments that create conditions favorable for mosquito breeding.
