Vadakara: Traveller ൽ മാഹി മദ്യം കടത്താൻ ശ്രമിച്ച രണ്ട് പേർ എക്സൈസിന്റെ പിടിയിൽ. കർണാടക സ്വദേശികളായ ശശി കുമാർ, പരമേശ എന്നിവരാണ പിടിയിലായത്.ഇന്നലെ ഉച്ചയോടെയാണ് സംഭവം. അഴിയൂർ ചെക്ക്പോസ്റ്റിന് മുൻവശം വാഹനപരിശോധനയ്ക്കിടെയാണ് ഇരുവരും പിടിയിലാകുന്നത്. ട്രാവലറിനുള്ളിൽ സൂക്ഷിച്ച 40.125 ലിറ്റർ മദ്യം എക്സൈസ് പിടിച്ചെടുത്തു.

Vadakara: Two individuals were caught by the Excise Department while attempting to smuggle liquor from Mahe in a Traveller vehicle. The arrested suspects, Shashi Kumar and Paramesh, are natives of Karnataka. The incident took place yesterday afternoon. They were apprehended during a routine vehicle inspection at the Azhiyoor checkpoint.
The Excise team seized 40.125 liters of liquor hidden inside the Traveller. The vehicle, bearing registration number KA 50 A 2205, was taken into custody. The inspection was led by Excise Inspector Mohandas M.K., Assistant Excise Inspector Ramachandran, and Civil Excise Officers Vichithran, Jithu, and Linesh.
