Kozhikode: Vadakara കുഞ്ഞിപ്പള്ളി റെയിൽവെ ഗേറ്റിന് സമീപം ഇതര സംസ്ഥാന തൊഴിലാളി ട്രയിൻ തട്ടി മരിച്ചു. പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാൾ സിലിഗുരി സ്വദേശി രാജേഷ് റായ് ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. ഇന്ന് വൈകുന്നേരം 3 മണിയോടെയാണ് സംഭവം. ട്രാക്ക് മുറിച്ച് കടക്കുമ്പോൾ ഒരു ട്രാക്കിലൂടെ ട്രയിൻ വരുന്നത് കണ്ട് രണ്ടാമത്തെ ട്രാക്കിലേക്ക് മാറിയ രാജേഷ് മറ്റൊരു ട്രയിൻ ഇടിച്ച് തെറിപ്പിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. ചോമ്പാല പൊലീസ് സ്ഥലത്ത് എത്തി മൃതദേഹം ജില്ല ആശുപത്രി മോർച്ചറിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി. തലശേരിയിൽ താമസിക്കുന്ന രാജേഷ് റായി നിർമ്മാണ ജോലിക്ക് സ്ഥലത്ത് എത്തി മടങ്ങുന്നതിനിടെയാണ് അപകടം.
A migrant worker, Rajesh Rai from Siliguri, West Bengal, died after being hit by a train near the Kunhippalli railway gate in Vadakara, Kozhikode. The incident occurred around 3 PM while he was trying to cross the tracks. Mistaking one train’s approach, he moved to another track and was struck by a second train. Chombala police shifted the body to the district hospital. Rajesh, who lived in Thalassery, was returning after construction work when the accident occurred.
