Omassery: പതിനാലാം പഞ്ചവൽസര പദ്ധതിയിലെ 2024-25 വാർഷിക പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി Omassery ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത്‌ ഭരണസമിതിയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ പതിനേഴാം വാർഡിലുള്ള മങ്ങാട്‌ കണ്ണങ്കോട്‌മല പട്ടിക വർഗ്ഗ ഉന്നതിയിലെ മുഴുവൻ കുടുംബങ്ങൾക്കും വാട്ടർ ടാങ്ക്‌ വിതരണം ചെയ്തു. ഊരു കൂട്ടത്തിലെ നിർദ്ദേശം അംഗീകരിച്ചാണ്‌ ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത്‌ തനത്‌ ഫണ്ട്‌ വിനിയോഗിച്ച്‌ ഗുണമേന്മയുള്ള അഞ്ഞൂറു ലിറ്റർ സംഭരണ ശേഷിയും ത്രിബിൾ ലയർ, ഫുഡ്‌ഗ്രേയ്ഡ്‌ സവിശേഷതയുമുള്ള വെള്ള നിറത്തിലുള്ള വാട്ടർ ടാങ്കുകൾ സൗജന്യമായി വിതരണം ചെയ്തത്‌.
ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത്‌ പ്രസിഡണ്ട്‌ പി.കെ.ഗംഗാധരൻ വിതരണോൽഘാടനം നിർവ്വഹിച്ചു. വൈസ്‌ പ്രസിഡണ്ട്‌ ഫാത്വിമ അബു അദ്ധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. പഞ്ചായത്ത്‌ വികസന സ്റ്റാന്റിംഗ്‌ കമ്മിറ്റി ചെയർമാൻ യൂനുസ്‌ അമ്പലക്കണ്ടി പദ്ധതി വിശദീകരിച്ചു. ക്ഷേമകാര്യ സ്റ്റാന്റിംഗ്‌ കമ്മിറ്റി ചെയർപേഴ്സൺ സീനത്ത്‌ തട്ടാഞ്ചേരി, വാർഡ്‌ മെമ്പർ ബീന പത്മദാസ്‌, നിർവ്വഹണ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥൻ പഞ്ചായത്ത്‌ അസിസ്റ്റന്റ്‌ സെക്രട്ടറി പി.ബ്രജീഷ്‌ കുമാർ, ഊരു മൂപ്പൻ പി.കെ.ബാബു, എസ്‌.ടി.പ്രമോട്ടർ വി.ആർ.രമിത രഞ്ജിത്ത്‌ എന്നിവർ സംസാരിച്ചു.
ഓമശ്ശേരി ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തിലെ ഏക പട്ടിക വർഗ്ഗ ഉന്നതിയാണ്‌ കണ്ണങ്കോട്‌ മലയിലെ എസ്‌.ടി.ഉന്നതി. 26 കുടുംബങ്ങളിലായി എൺപതോളം അംഗങ്ങളാണ്‌ കണ്ണങ്കോട്‌ മലയിലെ പട്ടിക വർഗ്ഗ ഉന്നതിയിലുള്ളത്‌. പട്ടിക വർഗ്ഗ സമുദായത്തിലെ കരിമ്പാലൻ വിഭാഗത്തിൽ പെട്ടവരാണ്‌ മുഴുവൻ കുടുംബങ്ങളും. സർക്കാറിൽ നിന്ന് പട്ടികവർഗ്ഗ ഉപപദ്ധതി വിഹിതം ലഭിക്കുന്ന ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്താണ്‌ ഓമശ്ശേരി.
Omassery: As part of the 2024-25 annual plan under the 14th Five-Year Plan, the Omassery Grama Panchayat administration distributed water tanks to all families in the Mangad Kannankodmala Scheduled Tribe Colony in the 17th ward. The decision was taken based on the recommendation of the tribal council, and the Panchayat utilized its own funds to provide high-quality, 500-liter, triple-layered, food-grade, white-colored water tanks free of cost.
The distribution was inaugurated by Grama Panchayat President P.K. Gangadharan. Vice President Fathima Abu presided over the function. The project details were explained by the Chairman of the Development Standing Committee, Yunus Ambalakkandi. Welfare Standing Committee Chairperson Zeenath Thattanchery, Ward Member Beena Padmadas, Panchayat Assistant Secretary P. Brajesh Kumar, Ooru Moopan P.K. Babu, and ST Promoter V.R. Ramitha Ranjith also spoke at the event.
Kannankodmala ST Colony is the only Scheduled Tribe settlement in Omassery Grama Panchayat, consisting of 26 families with around 80 members. All the families belong to the Karimpalan tribal community. Omassery Grama Panchayat is eligible for government aid under the Scheduled Tribe sub-plan scheme.
