Kozhikode: ലഹരിമരുന്നുമായി യുവതിയെയും യുവാവിനെയും പിടികൂടിയെന്ന കേസില്‍, പിടിച്ചെടുത്തത് MDMA യല്ലെന്ന് പരിശോധന ഫലം. പിന്നാലെ എട്ട് മാസമായി ജയിലില്‍ കഴിയുന്ന യുവാവിനും യുവതിക്കും കോടതി ജാമ്യം അനുവദിച്ചു. കേസില്‍ പൊലീസിനെതിരെ നിയമനടപടികള്‍ സ്വീകരിക്കാനാണ് ഇരുവരുടെയും അഭിഭാഷകന്റെ തീരുമാനം.
തച്ചംപൊയില്‍ പുഷ്പയെന്ന റെജീന (42), തെക്കെപുരയില്‍ സനീഷ് കുമാര്‍ (38) എന്നിവര്‍ക്കെതിരെ Thamarassery പൊലീസ് രജിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്ത കേസിലാണ് നടപടി. 2024 ഓഗസ്റ്റിലായിരുന്ന പുതുപ്പാടി ആനോറേമ്മലുള്ള വാടകവീട്ടില്‍ നിന്നും 58.53 ഗ്രാം MDMA യുമായി പുഷ്പയെ പൊലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യുന്നത്. തുടര്‍ന്ന് ഇവരുടെ സുഹൃത്ത് സനീഷ് കുമാറിനെയും പൊലീസ് പ്രതി ചേര്‍ത്ത് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യുകയായിരുന്നു.
രണ്ടാഴ്ചയ്ക്കുള്ളില്‍ രാസപരിശോധന ഫലം പുറത്തുവരണം എന്നിരിക്കെയാണ് എട്ടുമാസത്തിന് ശേഷം ഫലം വന്നിരിക്കുന്നത്. പിടികൂടിയത് മയക്കുമരുന്ന് അല്ലെന്നാണ് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്. അറസ്റ്റിലായത് മുതല്‍ ജയിലിലായിരുന്നു ഇരുവരും.
Kozhikode: In the case where a young man and woman were arrested for allegedly possessing narcotic substances, the test results revealed that the seized material was not MDMA. Following this, the court granted bail to both, who had been in jail for the past eight months. The lawyer representing the two has decided to initiate legal action against the police.
The case was registered by Thamarassery Police against Pushpa alias Regina (42) from Thachampoyil and Saneesh Kumar (38) from Thekkepurayil. In August 2024, Pushpa was arrested by the police from a rented house in Puthuppadi Anoremala with 58.53 grams of what was claimed to be MDMA. Subsequently, her friend Saneesh Kumar was also arrested and charged as an accused.
Despite the rule that chemical analysis results should be released within two weeks, the report came out only after eight months. The report confirmed that the seized material was not a narcotic substance. Both had been in jail since their arrest.
