Idukki: പീരുമേട്ടിൽ പന്ത്രണ്ട് വയസ്സുള്ള ആൺകുട്ടിക്ക് മദ്യം നൽകിയ യുവതിയെ പൊലീസ് അറസ്റ്റു ചെയ്തു. വണ്ടിപ്പെരിയാർ മ്ലാമല സ്വദേശി പ്രിയങ്കയാണ് പീരുമേട് പൊലീസിന്റെ പിടിയിലായത്. കട്ടൻ ചായ ആണെന്ന് വിശ്വസിപ്പിച്ച് നിർബന്ധിച്ചു മദ്യം കുടിപ്പിച്ചു എന്നാണ് പരാതി. ഇന്നലെ ഉച്ചക്ക് ശേഷം പ്രിയങ്കയുടെ വീട്ടിൽ വച്ചാണ് മദ്യം നൽകിയത്. മയങ്ങി വീണ ആൺകുട്ടി ഏറെ നേരം കഴിഞ്ഞ് അവശനായി വീട്ടിലെത്തിയതോടെ മാതാപിതാക്കൾ വിവരം അന്വേഷിച്ചപ്പോഴാണ് മദ്യം നൽകിയത് പ്രിയങ്കയാണെന്ന് കുട്ടി പറഞ്ഞത്. വീട്ടുകാർ പീരുമേട് പൊലീസിൽ പരാതി നൽകിയതിനെ തുടർന്ന് നടത്തിയ അന്വേഷണത്തിലാണ് പ്രതിയെ പൊലീസ് പിടികൂടിയത്. ജൂവനൈൽ ജസ്റ്റിസ് ആക്ട് പ്രകാരം കേസെടുത്ത പ്രിയങ്കയെ കോടതിയിൽ ഹാജരാക്കി.
Idukki: Woman Arrested for Giving Alcohol to 12-Year-Old Boy. A woman has been arrested by Peermade police for giving alcohol to a 12-year-old boy in Peermade, Idukki. The accused, Priyanka, a resident of Mlamala, Vandiperiyar, allegedly forced the boy to drink alcohol by convincing him it was black tea. The incident took place yesterday afternoon at Priyanka’s house.
The boy, who became dizzy and unwell, returned home in a weakened state. When his parents inquired, he revealed that Priyanka had given him alcohol. Following a complaint from the boy’s family, the police launched an investigation and arrested Priyanka. A case has been registered under the Juvenile Justice Act, and she has been presented before the court.
