Koyilandy: കൊയിലാണ്ടി നന്തി മേൽപ്പാലത്തിൽ ബൈക്ക് അപകടത്തിൽ യുവാവ് മരിച്ചു. തിരുവള്ളൂർ തെയ്യമ്പാടിക്കണ്ടി ആകാശ് (21) ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. ഇന്നലെ രാത്രി 8.45 ഓടെയായിരുന്നു അപകടം. ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റ ആകാശിനെ നാട്ടുകാർ ചേർന്ന് കൊയിലാണ്ടി താലൂക്ക് ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചെങ്കിലും ജീവൻ രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല.
വടകര ഭാഗത്തേയ്ക്ക് പോവുകയായിരുന്ന ബൈക്കും കൊയിലാണ്ടി ഭാഗത്തേയ്ക്ക് വരികയായിരുന്ന ലോറിയുമാണ് കൂട്ടിയിടിച്ചത്. മൃതദേഹം കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പോസ്റ്റ്മോർട്ടത്തിന് ശേഷം ബന്ധുക്കൾക്ക് വിട്ടുനൽകും. പിതാവ്: തെയ്യമ്പാടിക്കണ്ടി പവിത്രൻ. മാതാവ്: മഹിജ. സഹോദരി: ആവണി.
Koyilandy: A young man died in a bike accident at the Nandi overbridge in Koyilandy. The deceased has been identified as Akash (21) from Theyyampadikkandi, Thiruvallur. The accident occurred around 8:45 PM last night. Although locals rushed Akash, who had sustained serious injuries, to Koyilandy Taluk Hospital, his life could not be saved.
The accident happened when Akash’s bike, traveling towards Vadakara, collided head-on with a lorry coming from the Koyilandy side. The body will be handed over to the family after post-mortem procedures at Kozhikode Medical College Hospital.
