Kannur: നാറാത്തെ ആളൊഴിഞ്ഞ വീട്ടിൽ രാത്രി നടന്ന പരിശോധനയിൽ വൻ ലഹരിവേട്ട. നാറാത്ത് സ്വദേശി മുഹമ്മദ് ഷഹീൻ യൂസഫ്, കയറള സ്വദേശി മുഹമ്മദ് സിജാഹ എന്നിവരെ ലഹരിയുമായി എക്സൈസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു. 17 ഗ്രാം MDMA, രണ്ടര കിലോ കഞ്ചാവ്, 35 ഗ്രാം LSD സ്റ്റാമ്പ്, 93 ഗ്രാം ഹൈബ്രിഡ് കഞ്ചാവ് എന്നിവ യുവാക്കളിൽ നിന്ന് പിടികൂടി. എക്സൈസിന്റെ സ്പെഷ്യൽ സ്ക്വോഡ് നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയിലാണ് ലഹരി കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. പിന്നാലെ പ്രതികളുമായി വീട്ടിൽ നിന്ന് പുറത്തേക്കിറങ്ങിയ യുവാക്കളെ സംഘടിച്ചെത്തിയ നാട്ടുകാർ കൈയ്യേറ്റം ചെയ്യാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചു. ഏറെ പണിപ്പെട്ടാണ് പ്രതികളെ എക്സൈസുകാർക്ക് ഇവിടെ നിന്ന് കൊണ്ടുപോകാൻ സാധിച്ചത്.
Kannur: A significant drug bust took place during a late-night raid at an abandoned house in Narath. Excise officials arrested Muhammad Shaheen Yusuf, a resident of Narath, and Muhammad Sijah from Kairali with a large quantity of drugs. The seized substances included 17 grams of MDMA, 2.5 kg of cannabis, 35 grams of LSD stamps, and 93 grams of hybrid cannabis.
The excise special squad conducted the raid and found the drugs in the possession of the two youths. As the accused were being taken out of the house, local residents gathered and attempted to confront them. The situation escalated, and excise officials struggled to take the suspects away from the scene.
