Kodanchery: നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട സ്കൂട്ടർ തോട്ടിലേക്ക് മറിഞ്ഞുണ്ടായ അപകടത്തിൽ യുവാവ് മരിച്ചു. Kodanchery അറമ്പാട്ടുമാക്കിൽ ദേവസ്യയാണ് (48) മരിച്ചത്.
വീട്ടിലേക്ക് വരുന്ന വഴി കോടഞ്ചേരി കൂടത്തായി റോഡിൽ മലേക്കുടി പടിയിൽ കട്ടക്കളത്തിന് സമീപത്തുള്ള തോട്ടിലേക്കാണ് സ്കൂട്ടർ മറിഞ്ഞത്. രാത്രി ഒൻപത് മണിയോടെയാണ് പരിസര വാസികൾ തോട്ടിലേക്ക് സ്കൂട്ടർ മറിഞ്ഞു കിടക്കുന്നത് കണ്ടത്. ഉടൻ തന്നെ അപകടത്തിൽ പരിക്കേറ്റ യുവാവിനെ കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിൽ എത്തിച്ചുവെങ്കിലും മരണം സംഭവിച്ചിരുന്നു. കോടഞ്ചേരിയിലുള്ള തടി മില്ലിലെ ജീവനക്കാരനാണ് ദേവസ്യ.

Kodanchery: A youth lost his life in an accident after his scooter fell into a ravine. The deceased has been identified as Devassya (48) from Arambattumakki, Kodanchery.
The accident occurred while he was on his way home. His scooter veered off the road at Malekkudi Padi, near Kattakkal, on the Kodanchery-Koodathayi route, plunging into the ravine. Around 9 PM, local residents noticed the scooter lying in the ravine and rushed to help. The injured man was immediately taken to Kozhikode Medical College, but he succumbed to his injuries.
Devassya was an employee at a timber mill in Kodanchery. He was the son of the late Paulose and Thresyamma. He is survived by his wife, Biji, and children, Diljith and Diljo.
