പാതിവില തട്ടിപ്പ് കേസ് പ്രതി Ananthu Krishnan ൻ്റെ ജാമ്യാപേക്ഷ തള്ളി. മൂവാറ്റുപുഴ മജിസ്‌ട്രേറ്റ് കോടതിയാണ് അപേക്ഷ തള്ളിയത്. ജാമ്യം നല്‍കിയാല്‍ കേസന്വേഷണത്തെ ബാധിക്കുമെന്ന് കോടതി നിരീക്ഷിച്ചു. അനന്തുകൃഷ്ണന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ നടന്നത് വലിയ തട്ടിപ്പാണെന്ന് പ്രോസിക്യൂഷന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. എന്നാല്‍, തനിയ്‌ക്കെതിരെയുള്ളത് സിവില്‍ കേസ് മാത്രമാണെന്നും ജാമ്യം നല്‍കണമെന്നും Ananthu Krishnan ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു.
പാതിവില തട്ടിപ്പുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് Muvattupuzha Police രജിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്ത കേസിലാണ് ജാമ്യം തേടി അനന്തുകൃഷ്ണന്‍ മൂവാറ്റുപുഴ മജിസ്‌ട്രേറ്റ് കോടതിയെ സമീപിച്ചത്. അനന്തുകൃഷ്ണന്റേത് നിയമപരമായി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥാപനമാണെന്ന് അഭിഭാഷകന്‍ വാദിച്ചു. GST number അടക്കം ഉണ്ട്. സാമ്പത്തിക കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ നടത്തുന്നത് അനന്തുകൃഷ്ണനാണെന്ന് ബൈലോയില്‍ പറയുന്നുണ്ട്. എന്നാല്‍ അനന്തു സ്വന്തം അക്കൗണ്ടില്‍ പണം വാങ്ങിയിട്ടില്ല. സിവില്‍ കേസ് മാത്രമാണെന്നും ജാമ്യം അനുവദിക്കണമെന്നും അനന്തുകൃഷ്ണന്റെ അഭിഭാഷകന്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു.
എന്നാല്‍, ജാമ്യാപേക്ഷയെ പ്രോസിക്യൂഷന്‍ ശക്തമായി എതിര്‍ത്തു. നടന്നത് വലിയ തട്ടിപ്പാണെന്നും ഒരു കാരണവശാലും ജാമ്യം നല്‍കരുതെന്നും പ്രോസിക്യൂഷന്‍ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി. വിശദമായ വാദം കേട്ട കോടതി ജാമ്യാപേക്ഷ വിധി പറയാന്‍ മാറ്റുകയായിരുന്നു. അതേസമയം, പാതിവില തട്ടിപ്പില്‍ ഉടന്‍ അന്വേഷണം നടത്തേണ്ടതില്ലെന്ന് ED തീരുമാനിച്ചതായി വിവരം പുറത്തുവന്നു. BJP നേതാക്കള്‍ക്കെതിരെ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ ആരോപണം ഉയര്‍ന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ ഇ സി ഐ ആര്‍ രജിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്ത് അന്വേഷണം നടത്തേണ്ടതില്ലെന്നാണ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര്‍ക്ക് ലഭിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന നിര്‍ദേശം. ഇതിനിടെ ജസ്റ്റിസ് സി എന്‍ രാമചന്ദ്രന്‍ നായര്‍ പൂര്‍ണമായും നിരപരാധിയെന്ന് ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി NGO Confederation ചെയര്‍മാന്‍ ആനന്ദകുമാര്‍ വാര്‍ത്താ കുറിപ്പിറക്കി. NGO Confederation ൻ്റെ അഡ്വൈസറി ബോര്‍ഡ് ചെയര്‍മാനായിരുന്നെങ്കിലും അദ്ദേഹം ബോര്‍ഡ് യോഗങ്ങളില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തിട്ടില്ല. സംഘടനയുടെ ദൈനംദിന കാര്യങ്ങളിലും ഇടപെട്ടിട്ടുമില്ല. കഴിഞ്ഞ വര്‍ഷം ജൂലൈയില്‍ അദ്ദേഹം രാജി വെച്ചിരുന്നതായും കെ എന്‍ ആനന്ദകുമാര്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
The bail plea of Ananthu Krishnan, accused in the half-price scam case, has been rejected. The Muvattupuzha Magistrate Court dismissed the plea, observing that granting bail could affect the investigation. The prosecution argued that Ananthu Krishnan was involved in a major scam. However, Ananthu Krishnan contended that the allegations against him were merely a civil case and requested bail. Ananthu Krishnan approached the Muvattupuzha Magistrate Court seeking bail in the case registered by the Muvattupuzha Police in connection with the half-price scam. His lawyer argued that Ananthu Krishnan’s business was legally operated, had a GST number, and that financial transactions were conducted as per the company’s bylaws. The lawyer also stated that Ananthu did not receive money in his personal account and reiterated that it was a civil matter, urging the court to grant bail.
However, the prosecution strongly opposed the bail plea, stating that it was a large-scale scam and that bail should not be granted under any circumstances. After hearing detailed arguments, the court postponed its decision on the bail plea. Meanwhile, reports suggest that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has decided not to conduct an immediate investigation into the half-price scam. Officials have reportedly received instructions that an investigation, including against BJP leaders allegedly involved, is not required at this stage. In a related development, NGO Confederation Chairman Anand Kumar released a statement declaring that Justice C.N. Ramachandran Nair is completely innocent. He clarified that while Justice Nair was the Advisory Board Chairman of the NGO Confederation, he had not attended board meetings or intervened in the organization’s daily affairs. Anand Kumar also stated that Justice Nair had resigned from the position in July last year.
