വാഹനത്തിന് പിഴയുണ്ടെന്ന സന്ദേശം അയച്ചുള്ള തട്ടിപ്പിനെ കുറിച്ച് മുന്നറിയിപ്പുമായി കേരള പൊലീസും എംവിഡിയും. മോട്ടോർ വാഹന വകുപ്പിന്‍റെ പേരിലാണ് സന്ദേശം എത്തുക. മെസ്സേജിലെ വാഹന നമ്പറും മറ്റു വിവരങ്ങളും നിങ്ങളുടേത് തന്നെയായിരിക്കും. വരുന്ന സന്ദേശത്തോടോപ്പം പരിവാഹൻ എന്ന പേരിൽ വ്യാജ ആപ്പ് അല്ലെങ്കിൽ വ്യാജ ലിങ്ക് ഉണ്ടാകും. അതിൽ ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്താൽ പണം നഷ്ടപ്പെടും. ഇത്തരം സന്ദേശങ്ങളോട് പ്രതികരിക്കരുതെന്ന് പൊലീസ് മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നൽകി.
മോട്ടോർ വാഹന വകുപ്പോ പൊലീസോ സാധാരണയായി വാട്സ്അപ്പ് നമ്പറിലേക്ക് നിലവിൽ ചെലാൻ വിവരങ്ങൾ അയക്കാറില്ല. അത്തരം വിവരങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ RC യിൽ നിലവിലുള്ള മൊബൈൽ നമ്പറിലേക്ക് ടെക്സ്റ്റ് മെസേജ് ആയാണ് E Challan സൈറ്റ് വഴി അയക്കാറുള്ളത്.
ഏതെങ്കിലും സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ ഇത്തരം മെസേജുകൾ വന്നാൽ https://echallan.parivahan.gov.in എന്ന സൈറ്റിൽ കയറി Check Pending transaction എന്ന മെനുവിൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ വാഹന നമ്പറോ ചെലാൻ നമ്പറോ നൽകിയാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ വാഹനത്തിന് ഏതെങ്കിലും പിഴ ഉണ്ടോ എന്ന് അറിയാവുന്നതാണ്. പണം നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടാൽ ഉടനടി 1930 എന്ന നമ്പറിലേക്ക് ബന്ധപ്പെടുക.
Kerala Police and MVD have issued a warning about a scam involving fake messages claiming that a fine has been issued for a vehicle. These messages appear to be sent in the name of the Motor Vehicles Department. The vehicle number and other details mentioned in the message may seem accurate, but they are fake. The message often includes a fraudulent app or link under the name “Parivahan.” Clicking on this link can lead to financial loss. Police have warned people not to respond to such messages.
The Motor Vehicles Department or the police do not usually send fine details via WhatsApp. Genuine e-challan details are sent as a text message to the mobile number registered in the RC through the official E-Challan site.
If you receive such suspicious messages, you can check if there are any pending fines on your vehicle by visiting https://echallan.parivahan.gov.in and using the “Check Pending Transaction” option by entering your vehicle number or challan number.
